Access Holdings Plc has reassured investors, saying the group remains on track for long-term profitability even after opting not to pay dividends for the 2025 financial year.

Addressing shareholders at the company’s 4th Annual General Meeting  (AGM) in Lagos, Chairman Aigboje Imhokuede acknowledged concerns over the dividend decision but pointed to strong performance across subsidiaries as reason for optimism.

“All the group subsidiaries are doing well. We urge existing and prospective shareholders to take advantage of the moments which the company’s performance provides,” Imhokuede said.

He explained that the decision to withhold dividends was driven by regulatory compliance requirements, not by weakness in the business.

According to him, the board’s priority is to maintain capital strength and sustain growth momentum across Access Holdings’ banking and non-banking operations.

The chairman added that the group’s strategic investments and expansion plans are expected to deliver greater shareholder value in the coming years.

Shareholders were urged to stay invested, with management expressing confidence that the current phase of reinvestment will translate into sustainable returns.
