PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc has reported a 39 per cent growth in organic operating profit to N8.54 billion for the first quarter ended 2027, up from N5.85 billion recorded in the corresponding period of 2025.
The leading manufacturer of personal healthcare products and consumer goods disclosed this in its unaudited financial results released in Lagos on September 29, 2026.
According to the Company Secretary, Oghenekevwe Ogefere, the company recorded revenue of N64.84 billion for the quarter, representing a 10 per cent rise compared to N59.01 billion achieved in Q1 2025. She noted that the performance reflects the Group’s continued focus on sustainable revenue growth, operational efficiency and strengthening of underlying business performance.
Profit before tax stood at N9.09 billion, while profit after tax was N4.63 billion. Gross margin improved to 30.5 per cent from 26.9 per cent a year earlier.
The company said it remains focused on sustaining revenue growth, improving operating performance and delivering long-term value for stakeholders.
