Public relations practitioners, government communicators and industry leaders converged in Lagos for the 13th Lagos Public Relations Stakeholders’ Conference (LaPRSC), with a renewed call to leverage strategic communication for national development.
The conference, themed “Communication, Leadership and Innovation for Sustainable Community Transformation in Nigeria,” brought together key voices in governance and the media to examine how effective messaging and innovative leadership can address Nigeria’s community development challenges.
In attendance were Odume Festus, Editorial/Project Director of Financial Edge, and Olusegun Fafore, Special Adviser on Public Relations, Documentation and Repository to the Lagos State Governor’s Office.
The two were together at the event, underscoring the collaboration between the media and government in shaping public discourse.
Speakers at LaPRSC emphasized that sustainable transformation cannot happen without deliberate communication strategies that engage citizens, promote accountability, and drive innovation at the grassroots.
Now in its 13th edition, the Lagos Public Relations Stakeholders’ Conference continues to serve as a platform for PR professionals to align practice with public policy and community impact.
