Guinea Insurance Lists 6.3bn Shares From Private Placement On NGX

Guinea Insurance Plc has listed additional 6,307,089,654 ordinary shares arising from its private placement on the Nigerian Exchange Limited, NGX.

In a market bulletin dated October 7, 2026, with reference NGXREG/IRD/MB113/26/10/7, the Exchange notified trading licence holders and the investing public that the shares were listed on Wednesday, October 7, 2026.

According to the bulletin, signed by Godstime Iwenekhai, Head, Issuer Regulation Department,  the additional shares listed arose from the company’s private placement of 6,327,779,310 ordinary shares of 50 kobo each at N1.45 per share.

With the listing, Guinea Insurance’s total issued and fully paid-up share capital has increased from 11,149,638,021 to 17,456,727,675 ordinary shares of 50 kobo each.
