The management of VFD Group, an indigenous one stop financial service provider has assured its existing and prospective clients of the group commitment to deliver efficient services that will meet their respective needs. The group managing director / chief executive officer Nonso Okpala disclosed this on Tuesday July 24, 2018, during a media parley in Lagos.
Okpala who used the occasion to highlight the group business activities for almost a decade, explained that from a humble beginning, the group had been able to make remarkable progress in all their transactions, thereby exceeding industry expectations. He said the group is set to dominate the financial industry with innovative products that will change the face of services delivery.
On the group future plan, he said they intend to be a major active player in the banking, insurance and capital market space. “We have studied our environment that despite the size of the formal financial sector, the informal sector is not well tapped into and we have seen that there are immense opportunities for value creation within this informal sector”
He pointed out that they have developed a business model that allows the group to operate in every area of the financial industry through its subsidiaries, by providing financial advisory, Asset Management, Currency, Real Estate, Debt Services and Private Funds Management Services, taking deposits and providing loans at very competitive rates. Adding that as a team, they have identified the gap between both individuals and small businesses and their banking experiences, which they set out to bridge.
